Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Tails ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Service. This is a template — review with your counsel before launch.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account. Vets, shelters, and rescues must complete provider verification and maintain a current license to write verified records. We may revoke access for fraud, misuse, or lapsed licenses.

3. Verified records

Verified records are contributed by approved providers. Once entered, medical records lock after 24 hours and can only be corrected by an admin. Bite history is never hidden — see Disclaimers.

4. Listings and applications

Listers are responsible for the accuracy of their adoption, foster, or rehoming listings. Applicants are responsible for honest answers. Tails is a platform, not a party to the adoption.

5. Payments

One-time reports and subscriptions are billed via our payment processor. Subscriptions renew until canceled in your dashboard.

6. Prohibited conduct

No falsifying records, no scraping, no harassment, no bypassing the bad-actor registry, no impersonating a verified provider.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is." Tails is not a veterinary or legal service. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. We retain audit logs and verified records as required by law and to maintain record integrity.
